City of Cardiff Swimming Club is the premier swimming club in Wales. Whether you are an Olympic hopeful looking for a Swim Club to meet your needs or a Club Swimmer who wants to reach their full potential, we have a programme to enable every swimmer to reach their full potential!

The club provides its members with the opportunity to swim at all levels from Learning to Swim having obtained Aqua Passport Wave 7 or NPTS Stage 7. Book a trial with us by referring to the New Members tab.

Entrance is onto The Academy programme where skills are developed. Progressing to the Competitive programme to enhance technique. The Performance Squads can lead to the very highest levels of elite swimming, led by the Head Coach, Graham Wardell.

The club was accredited with “Swim Wales Elite Performance Centre” in 2012.


ABOUT THE CLUB sets out the Club’s Constitution, Code of Conduct, Fees & the Club’s Policies & Procedures. The Club’s history is recalled from the early beginnings in 1974 to the present day with our Olympic heritage.

Keith Bewley dedicated his whole life to the swimming and CCSC wish to continue his work through a new Fund. The money raised through the Swimming Trust will establish a fund to honour Keith’s fantastic contribution to the sport and ensure his work continues to help swimmers in the future. It will be used to help swimmers from City Of Cardiff Swimming Club achieve their long-term goals. The precise criteria will be announced as soon as possible.
