City of Cardiff Swimming Club is the premier swimming club in Wales. Whether you are an Olympic hopeful looking for a Swim Club to meet your needs or a Club Swimmer who wants to reach their full potential, we have a programme to enable every swimmer to reach their full potential!

The club provides its members with the opportunity to swim at all levels from Learning to Swim programmes which lead onto The Academy & Competitive Academy Squads where skills are developed. The Performance & High Performance Squads can lead to the very highest levels of the sport with the Elite Swimmers coached by the Head Coach, Graham Wardell.

The club was accredited with “Swim Wales Elite Performance Centre” in 2012.


ABOUT THE CLUB sets out the Club’s Constitution, Code of Conduct, Fees & Swimming Records, together with the Club’s Policies & Procedures.

ASA National Open Water Championships – Congratulations to Keeley E on her silver medal in 1.5km masters open water champs! Well done to Morgana M 13th in her very first 1.5km open water event is fantastic!
ASA Summer Champs 16 – Congrats to Kyle on winning gold in 200m breaststroke & Theo S awarded bronze in 400IM.
Past and present Olympians gathered for the clubs Rio Bar-B-Q to congratulate Ieuan and Chloe and send them on their way with their very best wishes.image

We are always pleased to invite new swimmers to join our club. The next set of trials will be in September 2016-held every Monday at 18:00. If you would like to Trial with us then the minimum entry level into City of Cardiff Swimming Club is either:
Aqua Passport Wave 7 or NPTS Stage 7 and children must be 6 years old plus.
Those wishing to attend a Monday evening trial, commencing at 6:00 pm, will be required to book their place in advance by sending an e-mail to cardiffswimmingtrials@hotmail.com

Please ensure you include the following information:
• Child’s full name
• DOB
• Present swimming ability (Wave/Stage),
• Learn to Swim provider or teacher
• Contact details – e-mail and phone number.

Cardiff compete outdoors at Stuttgart Swimmfest

City of Cardiff Swimming Club sent a team of 32 swimmers to compete in the 41st Internationales Stuttgarter Schwimmfest on 18/19 June.
